Mining stock scrapbook, 1873-1897.

The scrapbook consists of newspaper clippings, most of which are mining company stock prices from the New York and San Francisco stock exchanges. The price reports cover the period from October 27, 1879 to September 7, 1883. Most of the mines represented are from the Comstock Lode area. There are articles on the mines from local papers, some articles on copper mining and mining in other regions, and a few articles on mining laws, the Comstock, and mine stockholders.
